My dad john craddock died doing something that he loved which was football, apart from his family thats what he lived for every weekend you expect to see him at local football matches playing or watching on the day he died he was just meant to be watching a game of football but the team were short of player's and knowing my dad would say yes they asked him and not long into the game he died on the pitch.
This was a year ago and the family and friends are still not over it knowing that at the age of 46 he still had alot more to live for.

Legend

John was a true legend around the football scene in our town.

Everybody knew him, Everyone knew what to expect when they played against him.

When you think of Orchard Park FC then you often think, John Craddock, he was Mr Orchard Park.

I know how dearly missed he is by my brother Danny and by many of the players at the football club.

When my brother told me of the news that day, It was pure shock, my thoughts have and will always be with Johns family, I know the pain of losing a Father.

My father Dean was a close friend of John and David when they were young and all lived along Edmund St together.

Brother

Your life was a blessing
your memory a treasure...
You are loved beyond words
and missed beyond measure...

We miss you now, our hearts are sore,
As time goes by we miss you more,
Your loving smile, your gentle face,
No one can fill your vacant place.

Thinking of you all

I'm writing this from heaven, where I dwell with God above.
Where there's no more tears or sadness, there's just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy because I am out of sight
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.
And I will stay beside you, every day, week and year
And when you're sad I'll still be there to wipe away your tears.
When you think of my life on earth and all those living years
Because your only human their bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry it does relieve the pain
Remember there wouldn't be flowers unless we first had rain.
I wish I could tell you of all that God has planned
But even if I were able to, you wouldn't understand.
When your going down the street and you've got me on your mind
I'm walking in your footsteps and only half a step behind.
And if you feel a gentle breeze or wind upon your face
Remember it's only me with a loving and soft embrace.
